MUST HAVES FOR A HOT SUMMER

I’m currently doing my summer travels to an extremely hot place.  The average temperature here is 35 celsius (95 Fahrenheit) and can surge up to 38°C (100.4 °F).  How did I survive such extreme heat?  I got through each day and stayed cool with the help of some of these life saving gadgets that I’m about to introduce you to.

1. Neck Cooling Tube

This cooling tube freezes at 28 celsius, that means you can practically cool the tube in just about anywhere you go.  You can hold it under cool tap water or just place it near your car air conditioner vent when you head out.  It gives me a pleasant cooling and  refreshing sensation without an initial shock like an ice pack will do to your skin. It also becomes my ice pack for food and drinks when I’m not using it around my neck.  One of the coolest items to get this summer, with no pun intended.  😉

2.  Mini Handheld Fan Portable Charger Small Fan

I bring this fan with me when I travel to hot places.  Its 4-in-1 super lightweight, compact and foldable design makes it  extremely convenient.  It has 3 wind speeds, a super long battery life, a portable charger when in need, and you can use it hands free by hanging it on your neck.  Best of all, it rotates 180 degrees so you can keep cool in any direction.  

3.   Foldable Sunglasses

These foldable sunglasses are so compact and lightweight that I can just tuck them into my pants pockets when I’m out and about.  They are also exceptionally affordable so that I don’t have to worry if I happen to drop them or lose them during my travels (not that I wish that to happen.  Keeping my fingers crossed).  They come in a variety of styles and colors that you’re bound to be able to choose a pair of your liking.  They are so cheap that I bought two to bring with me on my current trip.

4.   Sun Protection Cooling Arm Sleeves Compression

These sun protection arm sleeves are the biggest trend this year.  I see so many people wearing them on the streets and even in Olympic competition settings.  They are made with UPF 50+ protection technology which helps keep harmful UV rays from penetrating your skin.  These are awesome for people like me that can easily get sunburnt and freckles from sun exposures.  They are made from breathable and sweat wicking material as well, which is soft and lightweight and provides a superb cooling effect on your skin.  Super stretchy fabric that fits all sizes.  

5.  Cooling wipes

You would want these after a long sweaty hike or a perspiring workout.  These cleansing wipes can cool your face and body down instantly.  It gives you a refreshing and invigorating  sensation that soothes your skin after a hot day.  After wiping your face and body with these wipes, your skin stays cool and refreshing for a long while.  Make sure to not wipe them on your eyes or any cuts you have on your skin as it can sting.
