13 Halloween Treats Without the Sweets
Halloween is around the corner. If you have kids with dietary restrictions like mine, then you know as parents, we have to be super cautious about what kind of treats our kids bring back home from trick or treating. Year after year, I have to sit down with my kids and their bags full of goodies to go through each one and read each food label to make sure they are safe to eat. That’s why over the years I’ve switched from giving away candies and chocolates to giving out unique Halloween treats. These unique goodies have no expiration dates and won’t get spoiled, so if you have any leftovers from this year, you can always save them for next year. That’s a very cost effective economical option. On top of that, kids won’t be able to remember which house they got those ordinary candies and chocolates from since everyone else is giving away the same boring sweets. But they will definitely remember yours!
